When I originally developed the idea for sellfreeusa.com, I had visions of it turning into something huge... but I knew THAT would never happen until everyone else loved it and used it. As we all know, on the internet, it must be free to grow and that is what sellfreeusa.com is. That's why I designed the entire site to be FREE of charge forever, if necessary. Honestly, I have good partners in this and we know it could take 10 years before sellfreeusa.com might turn into something huge. That's why we built it from the start to be totally and completely FREE of charge. It's here for you, to use at no cost to you, at any time, ever... at all... to infinity. So please create a free account (we've never and will never release any info in your registration info, it's not our style), so we know that you aren't a spammer, then post away to your hearts content. That's the great thing about the internet. No matter where you post, google and yahoo find it and make it known worldwide. So, the more you post, the better it gets for you. We have everyone register to assure all of our visitors that only real people post ads on sellfreeusa.com. It’s our only protection against the ‘evil spam robots’. 2. Log in and select 'Post an Ad' under the 'Mysellfree' button on top of the page. 3. Select the ad classification where you want your ad to go. *** This has been glitchy at times! If all you see is the words start over, go ahead and click that and all of the classifications then pop up... our tech guy will get this fixed, as soon as he is done killing demons online (or whatever he does when he's not doing this)..*** 4. Select the city and the state you want the ad placed in, or select statewide or nationwide. The choice is yours. TIP: Your hometown is always a good starting point, but you can pick others if you choose. 5. Create your ad. TIP: Think like you are the person who found your ad. What do you want to say. Don't type all the letters in caps with a billion !! marks. Just stay cool, be descriptive. Your ad will do better. 6. Attach any photos you want in the ad. TIP: Your photos will rotate as thumbnails for your ad on the main ad page. Pick good ones, as any one may be the photo that someone sees when they look at your ad listing. Also, you can post many, many photos so don't scrimp here. Once again, think about what YOU would want to see if you were coming to see your ad for the first time. 7. Click Save at the bottom of the page. ***NOTE*** You may see a little thing that asks if you want to pay a few $2 for a featured ad... ignore it and go to your mysellfree section. Questions we've answered. Q: How many photos can I attach? A: Lots! We attached 15 photos to this sample ad. ***NOTE*** Just make sure that they have a resolution less than 1000x1000. For some reason, super large photos sometimes don't like to display all that well. Q: How long will my ad run? A: Right now (August 2010) your ad will run automatically for 120 days. In the future, as sellfreeusa grows, we'll drop that down to around 60 days, then 30 is our overall ad placement duration. Q: Can I post the same ad in another town? A: Go ahead and click the post statewide or post nationally buttons if you wish... still totally free to do. Q: If I post multiple ads in the same town, will I get banned? A: Nope.
